Dr. Lipkin is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at New York University. He received his medical degree from the Pennsylvania College / Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. He then completed his residency in foot and ankle surgery at Mt. Sinai Hospital / St. Francis Medical Center in Hartford. Upon completion of his residency in 1996, he began practicing in Baltimore, and relocated to New Jersey in November 1998. He enjoys teaching podiatric surgical residents at Hoboken University Medical Center and has been involved in their residency program for over 20 years. Dr. Lipkin also performs surgical cases with residents from Atlantic Health System/Morristown Hospital and Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. Additionally, he gives lectures and presentations to the Family Practice medical residents at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Somerset and has received a recognition award from the Somerset Family Practice residency program. His hobbies include: biking, playing pickleball and softball, swimming, and coaching youth basketball. As such, he enjoys treating athletes and athletic related injuries. Dr. Lipkin also believes in customizing treatments to each patient’s unique, individual needs.
Dr. Lipkin is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the New Jersey Podiatric Medical Society. He authored a case study titled “Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma of the Leg” published in the Sept/Oct 2013 issue of the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association.
